Simple Nutrition . Lasting Habits

A supportive, practical nutrition workshop focused on simple guidance, sustainable habits, and consistency for long-term health, especially through midlife (yep this is me!) and beyond. If you’re feeling overwhelmed by conflicting advice, frustrated by quick-fix diets, or noticing that what once worked no longer does, this space is for you.
 

This workshop isn’t about rules, restriction, or perfection. Instead, we’ll explore evidence-based nutrition in a clear, supportive way, with a focus on what feels realistic and achievable for busy lives and changing bodies. Building nourishing habits is just as important as the food we eat, supporting energy, strength, and wellbeing not only day to day, but long term.
 

Knowing that nutrition is just one part of the picture, I’ll also draw on my experience as a movement professional and breathing coach. Together, we’ll look at how movement, breath, and nutrition can work in harmony to support resilience, manage stress, and feel more balanced. 
 

I hope for you to leave with greater clarity, practical tools, and gentle confidence to either begin or continue your journey towards healthier living....one small, sustainable step at a time.

  • 1 - 1.5Hr Online workshop plus Live Q&A via Zoom - The workshop will be live but also recorded and available to all for 14 days. If you can't attend live but have a question you would like to submit in advance, I will provide details on how to do this.

I'm on the same journey as you...

As a midlife working woman with teenage boys, I understand first-hand the realities of busy, often chaotic family life. The constant pressures of modern living, mixed messages about what we should be doing, and the added layer of hormonal change can make everything feel overwhelming at times.

What I’ve learned over the past few years is that while there are many things outside of our control, there is also so much we can influence. When we learn to work with our body and mind — rather than against them — small, meaningful changes become possible and the food we consume can have such a positive impact on so many areas of our health.

I’ve come to use knowledge as a way to feel empowered rather than overwhelmed. Through years of trial, error, and a shift in mindset, I’ve reshaped my lifestyle and eating patterns in a way that supports my health, energy, and longevity. It hasn’t been easy, and it’s taken time and commitment, but I truly believe that having simple, practical tools together with a clearer understanding of nutrition to draw on can make change feel achievable and sustainable.

I also know that one size doesn't fit all. As an IBS sufferer I've used diet to help me stabilise my condition but there are some stereotypical 'healthy' foods I have to be careful with. As a family we also navigate the world of food allergies which brings extra challenge, added anxiety and adaptations to where, what and how we manage food. But I now embrace these challenges because I know first hand how much these changes affect my daily energy levels, mood, stress levels and sleep patterns. Many of the foundations of healthy living are grounded in what we are putting in our mouths.

 

This is where my passion lies, and I’m excited to welcome others into this space — to learn, explore, and move forward together. We may all have different paths to follow on our journey but we all want to get to the same destination. Not just an increased life span but an increased health span!
