Vicky's classes are the only reason I look forward to Monday mornings! In only a few months I feel like my core strength has improved. Vicky offers lots of options for people of different levels. Classes are flexible too with the option to attend in person or online.

ABOUT ME

Hi, I’m Vicky — mum to two teenage boys, wife, and a STOTT Pilates® and Oxygen Advantage Functional Breathing Instructor. I’m also trained in evidence-based nutrition through Imperial College London.

I found Pilates after having my children, during a time when I felt stressed and disconnected from my body. What started as a way to move again quickly became something much bigger. Pilates changed how I felt physically and mentally, and it taught me that movement you genuinely enjoy is the key to consistency and long-term health.

As a midlife woman, my focus has naturally shifted towards longevity, staying strong, mobile, and well for life. That’s now at the heart of everything I teach. Alongside Pilates, I love sharing simple, practical breathing techniques that fit into real life and help manage stress, anxiety, and the pressures of busy days.

With a background in dance, years working in education marketing, and experience teaching at a bespoke Pilates studio, I bring a mix of movement knowledge, structure, and warmth to my sessions. In 2020, I followed my passion for movement and started my own business. Today, I run established classes and teach private Reformer and equipment sessions from my Wickford-based home studio.

I’m passionate about helping people build healthy habits that last, supporting strength, mobility, calm, and confidence as we all move through life and I'm excited to add nutritional support and coaching to my work as another key tool in building a healthy lifestyle.

Classes

PILATES CLASSES

Pilates is a movement method that challenges and builds core strength, joint stability and spinal mobility as well as teaching you how to effectively move, improve posture and become aware of your body. So whether you suffer with back pain, want to challenge yourself alongside other fitness platforms or you want to destress and move more efficiently, pilates can benefit us all. 

 

My aim during classes is to not just teach you a range of exercises that you can follow along with, but to help you understand what we are doing and why, emphasising technique and providing suitable modifications for each individual based your body and ability. I take the time to learn about how I can help and guide each of my clients to achieve their own personal goals. Classes are kept small and personable. We often use small equipment including the resistance band and mini stability ball.

1:1 REFORMER PILATES

If you are looking for a more tailored approach or would like to work with an injury, condition or focus on a specific goal, I offer private pilates sessions using the pilates reformer including the cardio tramp, spring wall, and mat work from my Wickford based Home Studio. 

 

This bespoke way of working allows you to work at your own pace, at a time that suits you and can be tailored to your individual needs. Whether you are looking for post rehab strengthening work following an injury, athletic conditioning to compliment other training or anything in between I have a variety of equipment, skills and knowledge to help you achieve your goals.

 

Private sessions are a partnership between myself and my client, we will work together to create a programme that's both beneficial and enjoyable.

Weekday/Daytime availability only

Private Sessions are 50 minutes and take place at my Wickford Based Home Studio
